How It Works
We provide a free to use carbon calculator on our website that has been designed to balance simplicity with accuracy. The data used to produce this calculator has been sourced from DEFRA, University of Leeds and other scientific journals. If you want to know more about where we get our data from please get in touch.
When signing up to our monthly offsetting service we review your carbon footprint to provide personalized advice via email, based on your major sources of emissions. Our team is also on hand to answer any specific questions you have about your carbon footprint and how it has been calculated.
Become carbon neutral by purchasing our monthly subscription. Our subscription service buys and retires carbon credits on the open market to allow our customers to easily reduce their carbon footprints.
To ensure trust with our customers we publish a certificate on our website each month with unique identifiers for all of our individual customers to show how much carbon has been offset and where it has been offset. The certificate also provides links to all of the gold standard carbon credits retirement registries so you can view an independent certificate of the carbon retirement that has been made in your name. These certificates are also e-mailed to customers on a monthly basis so you don't have to search for them yourselves.
Carbon Credit Sources:
We have selected 5 types of GOLD STANDARD carbon credits that we split proportionally in our subscription offering. This is aimed to take the confusion away from having to select your own credits. Our philosophy is that it's best not to focus on a single type of credit as the climate challenge needs to be tackled on many fronts e.g. tree planting, renewable energy sources and green technologies.
These are the current carbon credit projects we use in our subscription service:
